Overview

Peptide

Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6. Synthetic hexapeptide GH secretagogue. Strong GH release with pronounced appetite stimulation. Popular for bulking phases.

Effects on Markers

Elevates GH and IGF-1 levels, significant appetite stimulation (ghrelin mimetic), transient cortisol and ACTH elevation post-injection, may mildly elevate prolactin, can elevate fasting glucose with prolonged use

Compound Guide

Structure: Synthetic hexapeptide GH secretagogue. First-generation GHRP. Binds ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) with strong appetite-stimulating activity.

Dosage:

  • Standard: 100-200mcg 2-3x/day SubQ
  • Combined with mod-GRF: 100mcg GHRP-6 + 100mcg mod-GRF per injection, 2-3x/day
  • Appetite stimulation (bulking): 200-300mcg pre-meal

Administration:

  • SubQ injection, 27-30g insulin syringe
  • Best on empty stomach — intense hunger within 20-30 min post-injection
  • Space injections 3-4 hours apart

Key Notes:

  • Most pronounced appetite stimulation of any GH peptide — hunger can be overwhelming
  • Useful during bulking phases when difficulty eating is a limiting factor
  • Transient cortisol/ACTH spike post-injection — generally clinically insignificant but higher than Ipamorelin or GHRP-2
  • Good GH release but "dirtier" side effect profile than Ipamorelin (more cortisol, prolactin, hunger)
  • Synergistic with GHRH analogs — combine for maximum GH pulse
  • Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, store refrigerated
  • Monitor: IGF-1, fasting glucose, prolactin, cortisol
