Winstrol. 17α-alkylated DHT derivative. Available as oral or water-based injectable.

Effects on Markers

Severely impacts lipids (HDL suppression), significant liver stress (oral form), dramatically lowers SHBG, can worsen joint health, elevates liver enzymes

Compound Guide

Ester: None -- available as oral (17-alpha alkylated) or water-based injectable. Both forms have similar half-lives.

Dosage:

  • Enhancement (oral): 25-50 mg/day for 4-6 weeks
  • Enhancement (injectable): 50 mg EOD for 4-6 weeks

Administration:

  • Oral: split dose 2x/day
  • Injectable: water-based, can cause significant PIP; 25-27g needle

Key Notes:

  • DHT derivative -- does not aromatise, no E2 increase
  • Harshest common oral on lipids -- HDL destruction is severe even at low doses
  • Dries out joints by reducing synovial fluid -- high injury risk for heavy lifters
  • Not recommended alongside heavy compound lifts -- joint and tendon injuries are common
  • Significant liver stress (oral form) -- mandatory liver support (NAC + TUDCA)
  • Dramatically lowers SHBG
  • Keep cycles short (4-6 weeks max) due to lipid and joint impact
