BPC-157
Body Protection Compound-157. Synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from human gastric juice. Used for healing tendons, ligaments, muscle injuries, and gut repair.
Overview
Body Protection Compound-157. Synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from human gastric juice. Used for healing tendons, ligaments, muscle injuries, and gut repair.
No significant direct impact on standard blood markers. May support liver healing (limited evidence of normalising liver enzymes in damaged tissue). Does not affect hormones, lipids, or haematology. Research primarily from animal studies.
Compound Guide
Structure: 15-amino-acid synthetic peptide fragment of body protection compound found in human gastric juice.
Dosage:
- Injury healing: 250-500mcg 2x/day (SubQ near injury site or systemic)
- Gut healing: 250-500mcg 2x/day (oral or SubQ)
- General recovery: 250mcg 2x/day
Administration:
- SubQ injection near injury site for localised healing, or abdomen for systemic
- Oral administration (capsule or reconstituted in water) for gut-specific issues — some evidence of oral bioavailability
- 27-30g insulin syringe, 0.5 inch
Key Notes:
- Extensive animal research showing accelerated healing of tendons, ligaments, muscles, gut lining, and bone
- Limited human clinical trial data — most evidence is preclinical
- Generally well tolerated with very few reported side effects
- Does not suppress or stimulate any hormonal axis
- Often stacked with TB-500 for synergistic healing effects
- Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, store refrigerated, use within 30 days
- No significant impact on bloodwork — no monitoring changes needed
