Selank

Synthetic heptapeptide analog of tuftsin. Anxiolytic and nootropic without sedation. Approved in Russia for anxiety and neurasthenia. Does not cause dependence.

Overview

Peptide

Synthetic heptapeptide analog of tuftsin. Anxiolytic and nootropic without sedation. Approved in Russia for anxiety and neurasthenia. Does not cause dependence.

Effects on Markers

No significant impact on standard blood markers. May mildly modulate immune markers (tuftsin-derived — immunomodulatory properties). No effect on hormones, lipids, liver enzymes, or haematology. No sedation or cognitive impairment.

Compound Guide

Structure: Synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro). Analog of the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin with an added Gly-Pro sequence for stability.

Dosage:

  • Anxiolytic: 200-500mcg/day intranasal or SubQ
  • Standard titration: 300mcg/day (weeks 1-2) → 500mcg/day (weeks 3-4)
  • Cycling: 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off (or 5 days/week with 2-day breaks)

Administration:

  • Intranasal (traditional Russian method) or SubQ injection
  • Once daily, morning or as-needed for anxiety
  • 27-30g insulin syringe for SubQ

Key Notes:

  • Anxiolytic without sedation — reduces anxiety while maintaining mental clarity and energy
  • No dependence potential — fundamentally different from benzodiazepines
  • No cognitive impairment — actually enhances cognitive function alongside anxiolysis
  • Immunomodulatory properties from tuftsin backbone — may support immune function
  • Bodybuilding relevance: anxiety management (especially on Trenbolone or other compounds that worsen anxiety), sleep onset support without sedation, immune support during heavy training
  • Well tolerated in clinical studies — 14-day courses showed consistent safety
  • Can be combined with Semax: Semax for daytime focus + Selank for anxiety reduction
  • Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, store refrigerated
